Ok, so I missed a day, sue me! We drove down to So Cal and bought a car. Mike had to have his GSX, his baby. So for day three (yesterday) I already had this mapped out in my head. I am so completely and utterly thankful for Mike. And although my children come before anything or anyone in my life, this list is in no particular order. Mike is the best thing to happen to me besides them. We came into each others lives 4 years ago when we both needed each other. Of course we knew each other before, but it wasn't until 4 years ago that we became close. I was fresh out of a divorce and he was at the tail end of his crumbling marriage. We sought comfort in each other and we connected through our children we each brought into this relationship. The story of how me started dating is a bit unconventional so I am not sure when I will feel comfortable sharing that one, but I know that it will be a good read when I get to it!
I love Mike will all of my heart and I am so thankful I found him and he chose me. I wouldn't trade our past for anything because without it, we literally would not be together.
For day four, the one thing I am thankful for is this pregnancy. It was quite the miracle and although completely unplanned, so incredibly wanted. I am thankful I have been given the opportunity, twice to become a mother, and that is a gift that should never be taken for granted because there are so many people out there who struggle to have a family of their own.
